The ESD5V0D8BH is a bidirectional single-channel ESD protection diode developed for high-reliability electronic systems. The device has a maximum reverse operating peak voltage of 5V and a reverse breakdown voltage range of 6V to 8.5V, ensuring stable circuit operation in harsh environments. Its reverse leakage current is as low as 0.2μA maximum at VRWM. Under transient voltage shock, the device achieves a typical clamping voltage of 12V in the 8/20μs pulse test, which can efficiently channel the maximum reverse peak pulse current of 18A and enhance the system surge tolerance.
Its ESD protection performance complies with the IEC 61000-4-2 international standard, and the contact discharge and air discharge protection levels both reach the highest index of ±30kV. The typical junction capacitance value of 30pF to 50pF is adapted to the protection needs of medium and high-speed signals, and is widely used in automotive electronic modules, industrial control equipment and consumer product power ports, providing key circuits with enhanced protection solutions that meet international standards. ESD5V0D8BH adopts the industry-standard SOD882 package.
