The MF72 Series 1.3D-20 is a directly heated negative temperature coefficient thermistor designed for high-power applications. Its core function is to effectively suppress inrush current generated during circuit startup. Its rated zero-power resistance at 25°C is 1.3Ω ±20%, and its B value is constant at 2600K, ensuring stable performance over temperature. This thermistor can carry a maximum steady-state current of up to 10A, and features a dissipation factor of approximately 20mW/°C and a thermal time constant of approximately 80 seconds, making it excellent at handling high transient currents. It can support capacitive loads of 1000μF in 240V systems or 4000μF in 120V systems, demonstrating strong load compatibility. The MF72 Series 1.3D-20 has an extremely low residual resistance of 0.045Ω. Its maximum diameter is 20mm and its maximum thickness is 6.5mm. It operates over a wide temperature range, from -40°C to +200°C.
This product is encapsulated with phenolic resin and equipped with CP wire leads. It provides a variety of lead forms such as inner bend feet, outer bend feet, side bend feet and straight feet.
