The MF72 Series 1.5D-20 is a directly heated negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor designed specifically for inrush current suppression in circuits. Its rated zero-power resistance is 1.5Ω ±20% at 25°C, and its B value is constant at 2600K, ensuring stable performance over temperature. This thermistor can withstand a maximum steady-state current of up to 10A, features a dissipation factor of approximately 20mW/°C, and a thermal time constant of approximately 80 seconds, making it excellent for high-transient current applications. It supports a maximum capacitive load of 1000μF in 240V systems or 4000μF in 120V systems, demonstrating excellent load adaptability. The MF72 Series 1.5D-20 has an extremely low residual resistance of 0.045Ω, a maximum diameter of 20mm, and a maximum thickness of 6.5mm. It has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +200°C.
The product is encapsulated with phenolic resin and equipped with CP wire leads. It provides a variety of lead forms such as inner bend legs, outer bend legs, side bend legs and straight legs. It is widely used in scenarios that require reliable protection, such as switching power supplies, UPS systems, electronic ballasts and various heating equipment.
