The MF72 Series 16D-20 is a power NTC thermistor designed to provide robust inrush current protection for various electronic devices, effectively preventing damage to circuits caused by high transient currents. Its rated zero-power resistance is 16Ω ±20% at 25°C, tested at 1.5VDC. Its high B value of 2600K ensures excellent temperature response. This thermistor can continuously carry a maximum steady-state current of 4A, boasts a dissipation factor of approximately 20mW/°C, and a thermal time constant of approximately 80 seconds, effectively handling high transient current surges. It can stably support capacitive loads of 390μF in 240V systems or 1500μF in 120V systems, demonstrating wide compatibility. The MF72 Series 16D-20 boasts an ultra-low residual resistance of 0.045Ω and is compact, with a maximum diameter of 20mm and a maximum thickness of only 6.5mm. This device operates reliably over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +200°C, offering excellent adaptability.
Encapsulated in a rugged phenolic resin, it offers a variety of CP cable lead styles, including inward-curved, outward-curved, side-curved, and straight leads.
