The 2RL-8×6 series is a leaded packaged gas discharge tube designed to provide industrial-grade overvoltage protection for high-energy transient voltage surge suppression. The series provides multiple DC breakdown voltages from 75V to 600V with a tolerance of ±20%, and its 1kV/μs impulse spark overvoltage range is 600V to 1400V, ensuring rapid response to overvoltage events. The device has a low capacitance of ≤1pF to ensure signal fidelity of high-speed communication lines, and maintains a high insulation resistance of ≥10 GΩ to suppress leakage current. The core advantage is that it can repeatedly withstand 10kA pulse discharge current under 8/20μs waveform and 50Hz AC 10A discharge capability.
Complies with ITU-T K.12 standards and is suitable for harsh surge environments. The operating temperature covers -40℃ to +90℃, especially designed for primary protection of communication base stations, industrial power systems, CATV equipment surge protectors and high-power distribution equipment. The pin structure enhances heat dissipation, supports wave soldering processes, and features reel packaging suitable for automated production lines, providing an optimal balance of physical size and electrical performance for high-reliability applications. The 2RL-8×6 series adopts an 8mm × 6mm leaded ceramic package.
