The 3RL-5×7.6 series is a leaded three-electrode gas discharge tube designed to provide high-reliability overvoltage protection for common-mode surge protection in differential communication systems. The series provides multiple DC breakdown voltages from 75V to 600V with a tolerance of ±20%, and its 1kV/μs impulse spark overvoltage range is 600V to 1400V, ensuring accurate threshold response. The device has an ultra-low inter-electrode capacitance of ≤1pF, effectively maintaining the signal fidelity of high-speed differential interfaces, while achieving a high insulation resistance of ≥10 GΩ to suppress leakage current. The three-electrode structure supports the line-to-line-to-ground collaborative protection mode and can withstand 5kA common-mode surge current under 8/20μs waveform.
It meets the requirements of ITU-T K.12 standard and provides symmetrical suppression performance. The operating temperature covers -40℃ to +90℃, and is mainly used in industrial control systems, telecommunications distribution frames, power input-level surge protector modules and high-precision instruments and equipment. The 3RL-5×7.6 series adopts a 5mm × 7.6mm leaded ceramic package.
