Primary Side Protection of Automotive Power Supply


Automotive electronic products such as electronic control units, sensors and entertainment systems are connected to a power source. The power source of these electronic products is a battery or a generator. Due to the influence of temperature, working conditions and other conditions, the output voltage of the battery or the generator is unstable.

In addition, automotive systems that use electromagnetic loads such as fuel injection, valves, motors, electricity, and hydrolysis controllers introduce ESD, spike noise, and several transient and surge voltages into power and signal lines. 

When the engine is running and the generator is delivering current to the power cord of the car, if the battery is suddenly disconnected, the most serious inrush current will be generated. This situation is also called "load dump". Most car manufacturers and industry organizations have specified the maximum voltage, line impedance, and duration in this load dump situation.

Into the high power TVS is used to protect easily damaged circuits from electrical overstress and ensure high reliability. For primary protection, TVS should absorb the high energy in the case of load dump. YINT's SM8 series is suitable for such situations.

NFC antennas


NFC is a short-range, high-frequency radio technology that operates at a distance of 20 cm at 13.56MHz. RS-232 and RS-485

USB2.0
