The MF72 Series 20D-20 is an NTC thermistor designed for efficient inrush current suppression. Its rated zero-power resistance is 20Ω ±20% at 25°C, and its B value is 2600K, ensuring stable performance across various temperatures. This thermistor has a maximum steady-state current of 3A, a dissipation factor of approximately 20mW/°C, and a thermal time constant of approximately 80 seconds. These characteristics enable fast response and effective startup current limiting. It supports a maximum capacitive load of 330μF in 240V systems or 1300μF in 120V systems, providing reliable circuit protection.
The MF72 Series 20D-20 features a low residual resistance of 0.045Ω, a maximum diameter of 20mm, and a maximum thickness of 6.5mm, ensuring a compact design. It also operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +200°C. The product adopts phenolic resin encapsulation and CP wire lead, and provides a variety of lead forms, suitable for applications such as switching power supplies, UPS, electronic ballasts and various heating equipment.
