The MF72 Series 50D-11 is a directly heated negative temperature coefficient thermistor specifically designed for suppressing startup inrush current in electronic equipment. This device boasts a rated zero-power resistance of 50Ω ±20% at 25°C, tested at 1.5VDC. Its material constant, B, is 2950K ±10%, ensuring excellent temperature response stability.
This thermistor has a thermal time constant of approximately 50 seconds and a dissipation factor of approximately 14mW/°C. It can handle a maximum steady-state current of 1.5A and is suitable for capacitive loads of 100μF in 240V systems or 390μF in 120V systems.
The device is compact, with a maximum diameter of 13mm and a maximum thickness of 5.5mm, and offers a low residual resistance of 1.02Ω. The MF72 Series 50D-11 operates stably over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +175°C.
