The FR101W to FR107W series of surface-mount fast-recovery diodes are housed in an ultra-thin SOD-123FL package optimized for automated assembly processes. The series covers reverse voltage ratings from 50V to 1000V, delivers a continuous 1A average rectifier current at a case temperature of 125°C, and withstands a peak surge current of 30A.
Glass-passivated chip junction technology ensures high reliability, with a maximum forward voltage drop of 1.3V and a low reverse leakage current of 5μA at the rated voltage of 25°C. These devices are compliant with EU RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU. Their 1.1mm maximum package height and 15mg ultra-lightweight design significantly save PCB space.
With a thermal resistance of 85°C/W based on a standard 5×5cm copper pad, the series operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to +150°C, making them suitable for half-wave rectification circuits with resistive or inductive loads. Capacitive loads require a 20% current derating. Key features include a fast reverse recovery time of 150ns to 500ns and a typical junction capacitance of 15pF.
Certified to MIL-STD-750 Method 2026 soldering standards, this device provides a highly efficient solution for switching power supplies, high-frequency rectification, and industrial control equipment.
