The US1AF-US3AF SMAF series of high-efficiency surface-mount rectifier diodes utilizes a SMAF package and is optimized for high-power density designs. The series offers three current ratings: the US1AF supports an average rectification current of 1A, the US2AF supports 2A, and the US3AF supports 3A. All series cover seven reverse voltage ranges from 50V to 1000V. Ultra-fast recovery characteristics achieve a reverse recovery time of 50ns and a forward voltage drop as low as 1.0V. A glass-passivated chip junction ensures high-temperature stability, with a reverse leakage current of only 5μA at a rated voltage of 125°C. The entire series is compliant with EU RoHS directives, and its ultra-thin 1.2mm package and extremely lightweight 27mg design overcome space limitations.
The series features an optimized thermal resistance gradient: the US1AF achieves a junction-to-case thermal resistance of 80°C/W, the US2AF drops to 65°C/W, and the US3AF reaches 50°C/W, all based on standard copper pad testing. Operating temperature ranges from -55°C to +150°C, it is suitable for 60Hz half-wave rectification of resistive or inductive loads. Driving capacitive loads requires a 20% current derating. The device is MIL-STD-750 military standard weld certified and boasts non-repetitive peak surge currents of 30A, 50A, and 80A, respectively. It provides a highly efficient solution for rectification applications in high-frequency switching power modules, photovoltaic inverters, and precision instruments, and is particularly suitable for applications with stringent requirements for current capability and recovery speed.
