The 1N4001W to 1N4007W series are general-purpose surface-mount rectifier diodes housed in an ultra-thin SOD-123FL package optimized for automated assembly. They cover reverse voltage ratings from 50V to 10,000V, deliver a continuous 1A average rectified current at 125°C, and withstand a peak surge current of 30A.
Glass-passivated chip junction technology ensures high reliability, with a typical forward voltage drop of 1.1V and a reverse leakage current of only 5μA at the rated voltage of 25°C. The entire series is compliant with EU RoHS directives, and its 1.1mm maximum package height and 15mg lightweight design significantly save PCB space.
With a thermal resistance of 90°C/W based on a standard 5×5cm copper pad test, the series operates in harsh environments from -55°C to +150°C, making it suitable for half-wave rectification circuits with resistive or inductive loads. For capacitive loads, the rated current should be reduced by 20%.
The device is MIL-STD-750 certified for military standard welding and has a typical junction capacitance of 80pF, providing a high-efficiency solution for rectification applications in power adapters, industrial control systems, and consumer electronic devices.
