The 3RL-6×8 series is a high-power, leaded, three-electrode gas discharge tube designed for high-energy common-mode surge suppression. This series offers multiple DC breakdown voltage ranges from 75V to 600V with a ±20% tolerance. Its 1kV/μs impulse spark overvoltage ranges from 600V to 1400V, ensuring precise protection threshold response. The device features an ultra-low inter-electrode capacitance of ≤1pF, ensuring differential signal transmission integrity, while maintaining a high insulation resistance of ≥10GΩ to suppress leakage current. The three-electrode architecture supports line-line-ground coordinated protection and can repeatedly withstand 10kA common-mode surge currents with 8/20μs waveforms and 10A discharge capability at 50Hz AC.
This series complies with the ITU-T K.12 standard. It operates in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +90°C. Its primary applications are industrial motor drive systems, smart grid monitoring equipment, three-phase power surge protectors, and energy infrastructure. The 3RL-6×8 series adopts a 6mm × 8mm leaded ceramic package.
