The SMD 2920 series resettable fuse uses a rugged and higher power capacity 2920 surface mount size to provide high-performance overcurrent protection for circuits from 6V to 30Vdc.
Its core is based on the PTC (positive temperature coefficient) material properties. When encountering high current surges or continuous overloads, the resistance value rises sharply and nonlinearly, achieving millisecond-level response, effectively clamping fault currents, and protecting downstream sensitive devices and system safety. After the fault is eliminated, the device automatically resets to a low-resistance state without the need for maintenance or replacement, significantly reducing system downtime and maintenance costs.
The outstanding technical advantages of this product lie in its high rated current tolerance, precise trigger-reset mechanism, and long-term reliability in harsh power environments (such as power converters, industrial controls, automotive ECUs, and BMS).
