The YAZ2D3V3 to YAZ2D200 series utilizes high-power silicon planar Zener diodes in an SMA package, offering an industrial-grade voltage regulation range of 3.3V to 200V and a maximum power dissipation of 2W. They feature high-voltage regulation capability of 190V to 210V, a minimum test current of 9990μA, and a peak surge power withstand capability of 9.5kW.
This series maintains 2W power output at an ambient temperature of 75°C, with test currents ranging from 0.25mA to 145mA and dynamic impedance as low as 2.5Ω. Reverse leakage current is as low as 0.25μA at the rated voltage at 25°C, and the maximum DC Zener current reaches 548mA.
The devices are solder certified to MIL-STD-750 and operate in extreme temperatures from -65°C to +150°C. The SMA package measures 4.50 × 2.70 mm, with a junction-to-ambient thermal resistance of 75°C/W and a junction-to-lead thermal resistance of 30°C/W. A cathode marking band ensures polarity identification.
Designed specifically for high-power power systems, the device's electrical characteristics are based on an 8.3ms pulse test. Its dynamic impedance profile is optimized, maintaining a 2.5Ω impedance characteristic on the 200V high-voltage model, providing precise overvoltage protection for industrial inverters, servo drives, and electric vehicle charging equipment.
