What is the junction capacitance of SMF5.0A, and does it affect high-speed signals?

The SMF5.0A has a typical junction capacitance of approximately 80pF at zero bias. This capacitance is acceptable for DC power rail protection but is too high for direct use on high-speed data lines (USB 2.0/3.0 data pairs, HDMI TMDS, Ethernet). For high-speed signal line protection, use ultra-low capacitance (<1pF) dedicated ESD protection diodes such as the ESD24VD3 series.
